About the event
World Suicide Prevention Day is in our thoughts especially as the theme for 2024 is about ‘starting the conversation’. Suicidal thoughts can be complex, frightening and confusing, but according to The Samaritans 1 in 5 of us will experience them. As part of a small effort to encourage awareness and open up conversations around mental health the club is hosting a Dawn Walk to raise funds for the Samaritans.
